I have produced 4 clutches of these over the last couple of years so i can say they are genetic. I tried for the super this year from an 07 son back to the original female, i either missed the super or they are a dominant trait. I have bred the 07 male to a normal female and still produced these morphs. The pics are of some of the babies i have produced and the original female. They are blushed out between the sadles with the white coming up the sides from the belly with splatters of white in the blushed out areas, also i have noted that some are alot more yellow than the others and have a faded head where as the others have the head mark much like yb's.

Update

15-08-2012

I finally bred a yellow splatter to a normal splatter and produced a super type splatter. It seems to take 3 stages to get this awesome animal

splatter x normal = splatters and normals
splatter x splatters = splatters and yellow splatters
splatter x yellow splatters = yellow splatters, splatters and super type

I have only herd of this once before so not to sure of whats going on.
